C/C++ Software Engineer

C/C++ Software Engineer required by a VC backed hardware company based in Oxford, who are a spinout from the University of Oxford.

Due to planned growth, they are looking for a C/C++ Software Engineer to work with their hardware and software teams to develop and deploy greenfield software products.

The C/C++ Software Engineer will work on both Linux and Windows across the company's product suite: CLI, GUI, Drivers, API.

Essential experience:

• C, C++ and Python
• Cross platform development (Linux, Windows)
• Requirements analysis, design and implementation

Desirable experience:

• Debuggers, emulators, compilers
• Low-level hardware programming
• USB, Ethernet, PCIE, UART, SPI, I2C
• GUI, CLI, Drivers, API

The company are open to considering candidates at different levels hence the broad salary range on offer. They operate on a hybrid model involving at least 1 day a week in the office therefore candidates must be able to visit Oxford on a weekly basis.
