MPLOY is looking for a full time & permanent Lead Developer to join a brand-new client in Dorchester, Dorset.

- has experience developing and delivering software to both internal stakeholders & external customers. Our client develops & uses in house produced software to deliver every aspect of their business and expect to be heavily involved in maintaining, fixing & creating Customer Relationship Management, Warehouse Management & Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Also expect to support with the development and implementation of externally offered Cloud & Security services.
- has worked on high value projects in the past. Project budgets can range from modest up to six figures per!
- has experience in managing a team and closely supporting stakeholders. Expect to lead a team of UK & offshore developers (both in and out of house) whilst understanding complicated customer needs for a fully developed product. Expect to work closely with other developers and coordinate their efforts to deliver projects on time & within budget.
- can take responsibility, expect to own every aspect of a project whilst being the technical point of contact.
- can think outside the box and drive innovation by leveraging intelligent tech stack choices.
- can plan. Alongside creating detailed project plans you’ll be able to predict work hours needed per project whilst delivering against the plan.
- can work independently with minimal supervision.
- has an eye for detail, can think critically and is an articulate communicator.
- has experience using the following tech stack options: Java, C++, My SQL, MS SQL, Lavarel & Apache Ofbiz.
