ABOUT US:
We are a District office located in Oakbrook Terrace responsible for supporting over 50 local agencies across the Greater Chicago Area. The Head of Recruiting is an integral member of our recruiting team responsible for delivering top talent and excellent service. This individual will develop robust candidate pipelines and be capable of generating results in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to proactively identify top-level talent through a variety of sourcing/recruiting techniques. This professional will ensure impeccable recruitment execution to achieve a seamless candidate recruitment experience.

Salary Range: $55000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with District Leadership to profitably grow the footprint of Farmers Insurance in the Greater Chicago Area
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Manage a consistent, high-volume flow of qualified candidates through active and passive sourcing methods.
- Plan and conduct interviews and selection procedures
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect our selection criteria
- Lead branding initiatives that promote our agency development initiatives
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by entry point
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Send 400 prospecting messages via ProAct daily, weekly prospecting job descriptions via Ideal Traits as needed, and 50 connection requests via LinkedIn daily
- Complete a minimum of 3+ Hours of talk time per day to set appointments
- Set a minimum of 25 initial appointments per week
Requirements
- Willing to become fully licensed (Property, Casualty, Life, and Health) through the State of Illinois
- Expert with paid social media branding and advertising
- Intermediate with video editing software and videography
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Create relationships from a cold start.
- Be a fantastic presenter.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Must have ability to multi-task.
- Prior Sales Experience.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Career minded vision.
- Be equipped with great listening and closing skills.
- Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
