About the role and our team
Join our team as a Driver and Vehicle Administrator within the Department of Infrastructure!
The Vehicle and Driver Test Centre is a very busy, interesting and varied place to work, where no two days are the same and there are plenty of different tasks to get to grips with.
Some of the duties of this role include:
- Creating and maintaining records of driving licence holders and registered keepers of vehicles
- Issuing and where appropriate, refusing medical and foreign exchange driving licences
- Taking and processing fees, daily till reconciliation and balances, refunds and journal transfers
- Arranging bookings of vehicle and driving examinations
- Working with vehicle and driving examiners to provide operational assistance
- Customer facing role, dealing with various people attending the Driver and Vehicle Test Centre for different enquiries and services
You will join our supportive and friendly team where good communication and excellent customer service skills are key to be successful in the role.
