What you’ll do:
- Activate social listening strategies, defined by the Social Media Manager, to identify opportunities for Sodexo to engage in conversations or campaign activities pertinent to our industry.
- Nurture our online community by addressing questions promptly and facilitating conversations that foster a positive brand image.
- Collaborate closely with various internal departments to convey valuable customer feedback and insights obtained from social platforms, building stakeholder relationships along the way.
- Implement the UK social media content strategy in line with our overarching Brand & Comms strategy, aiding in formulation and fine-tuning as necessary.
- Act as a ‘social first’ advocate, bringing fresh and valuable contributions to team planning sessions and campaigns.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts by staying abreast of the latest social media trends and developments.
- Deliver regular reports on engagement and audience growth, offering insights that facilitate informed decision-making.
- Junior level experience in a professional social media role, preferably in an agency or in-house setting.
- Good understanding of various social media platforms and an eagerness to further expand this knowledge base.
- Solid communication, writing, and language skills complemented by a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Potential to handle sensitive and occasionally polarising subjects with diplomacy and tact, exhibiting a readiness to grow and adapt in this area.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a knack for thorough and meticulous planning.
- An uplifting and positive team member, bringing enthusiasm and a 'can-do' attitude to the workplace.
- (Desirable) Quick adaptation to new tools and technologies, coupled with experience in navigating large or complex corporate environments.
