Job description
We are looking for an organised individual who loves a challenge, to join our growing social media team!
Based in Freshford, you will support the social media and marketing side of business across our three beautiful pubs. Regular visits to our three sister pubs will be required, so a driving license is required.
You will work within a supportive team who will make sure you have access to all the tools you need to drive our social media presence forward and increase our brand awareness.
The role will include:
- Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
- Analysing the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offering reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan
- Creating captivating content for an organisation’s social media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts and multimedia content
- Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across all channels
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
- Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
- Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention
- Keep website content up to date
- Taking / editing photos across our 3 sites for use on social media
- Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)
- Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
- Managing a social media team and guiding junior members
- Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy
- Be proactive with analytics and reporting, including Google Analytics / Meta Insights, to increase follower count and post engagements
Skills and Experience required
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills are required.
- Events experience is desirable
- Good analytical skills to be able to understand and make changes to paid advertising campaigns to maximise results.
- A good eye for photography
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a marketing environment and with social media platforms
- Experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans.
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
- Marketing / Digital Marketing Qualification (preferable)
- IT literate with experience of using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
- Creative thinker able to challenge conventional thinking and able to articulate ideas.
- Numerate and able to work with spreadsheets and numbers/budgets
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom is an advantage, but not required.

Hours and pay:
We are offering this role as a part-time position at 24 hours
The hourly rate is £12.50
