Social Media Assistant
An exciting new opportunity for a skilled Social Media Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who will play a pivotal role in executing our social media strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of social media, including community engagement, influencer outreach, ambassador program management, content creation, and copywriting. You will work closely with the Social Media Manager to drive brand awareness and foster meaningful relationships with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Management:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on all social media platforms.
- Foster positive interactions and engage with our online community to build brand loyalty.
- Identify and address customer concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.
Influencer Outreach:
- Research and identify potential influencers and collaborators in our niche.
- Develop and maintain relationships with influencers to promote our brand.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships, including negotiations and campaign execution.
Ambassador Programme Management:
- Manage an ambassador programme to build a loyal network of brand advocates.
- Collaborate with ambassadors to generate user-generated content and increase brand visibility.
- Track and report on the performance of the ambassador programme.
Content Creation:
- Develop engaging and creative visual and written content for various social media platforms.
- Use design and multimedia tools to produce eye-catching graphics, photos, and videos.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience.
Copywriting:
- Draft compelling and persuasive copy for social media posts, ads, and captions.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.
- Optimise copy for SEO and engagement metrics.
Duties:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and customer inquiries
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute social media campaigns
- Analyze social media data and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for content
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to use photoshop and design software is preferred
Salary - £22,000 - £25,000 negotiable depending on experience
