Are you a Multi Skilled Engineer? Looking for a new opportunity within the food manufacturing sector? Look no further!
We are seeking to speak to experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers, to join one of our well-known food manufacturer clients in the Thirsk area.
As their Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the manufacturing equipment and the site is maintained to the highest standard. You will have a flexible hands-on approach and can-do attitude; you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of effective preventative maintenance schedules and processes.
This role is easily commutable from York, Middlesbrough, Helmsley, Harrogate, and the surrounding areas. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of up to £20ph+ (DOE), a Monday to Friday Day shift pattern, requiring some availability. Benefits discussed at interview.
Key accountabilities:
- Responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance/repairs to the machinery on site
- Responding to plant equipment faults, emergencies, and breakdowns.
- Fault finding and resolving issues.
- Developing relationships and contacts with other equipment suppliers in order to improve production facilities and resource additional help when required.
- Monitoring and controlling of maintenance costs.
- Reporting back to management.
The successful candidate will:
- Experience in Maintenance Engineering, electrical/mechanical/multi.
- Experience working within Food Manufacturing.
- Experience working within a FMCG environment.
- Drivers licence and access to a vehicle due to the location.
- Be a team player but able to work on their own.
- Ambition for continuous development.
