Dick Lovett Swindon is looking for a SMART Repair Technician.
Your role
Our Smart Repair Centre in Swindon is looking for a SMART Repair Technician to repair vehicles in line with recognised manufacturers’ methods, whilst maintaining the high standards our customers have come to expect.
If you are trained to City and Guilds standards or equivalent, we can provide excellent training to develop your skillset and ensure that you meet the high standards required by manufacturers and the Group. Key responsibilities:
Undertake all SMART Repair tasks as distributed by the Bodyshop Manager including:
- Cosmetic repairs including minor panel repair, panel preparation and fully painted to the highest standard.
- Wheel refurbishments to include inspection reports, repairing the damage and maintaining equipment.
- Recognise when a vehicle needs a full paint shop repair and refer this work to the appropriate team.
- Ensuring that all repairs are finished within Manufacturer guidelines and with our company ethos of “right first time” in mind.
Your profile
- You will need to have served either a recognised apprenticeship and gained a technical qualification or trained to City and Guilds standard NVQ, ATA or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
