Site Support Assistant
Part-time
£10.53 per hour
NorseCare are an award-winning provider of care services across Norfolk and Suffolk, managing a number of home and partnerships with local housing associations. We are dedicated to improving the quality of care our residents and tenants receive, whilst ensuring we create a safe environment that it based on the needs of everyone.
We are currently looking to add to our fantastic team by recruiting a Site Support Assistant, working 20 hours per week on a permanent basis across Burman House (Terrington St John, Wisbech - PE14 7SF) and High Haven (Downham Market - PE38 9AG)
This role is a key part of our on-site team, taking responsibility for general building and grounds maintenance. You will have the opportunity to turn your hand to a number of different tasks in this role, including technical support, minor fixes and other handyman duties.
You will be part of a professional, caring team and will contribute to the excellent level of care we provide to our residents by maintaining the site and grounds. We would encourage you to build relationships with our residents helping to support them and the team where required.
Your Experience:
This role would be ideal if you have previous care taking, site support or general maintenance experience and you would like to transfer that into a friendly care focused team. You would need to demonstrate;
- Experience delivering minor repairs and ground maintenance
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with a variety of people
- Ability to manage your workload and time effectively

- £100 will be payable at 3 months, a further £200 will be payable at 6 months subject to obtaining a contracted position working at least an average of 12 hours per week.
