The Project

As an experienced Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the works on a City Centre Roads Scheme.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Experience of Highways schemes
• Ideally City Centre Road Scheme experience
• Be able to write and keep daily diary/record sheets
• Be able to supervise a team Confident in taking information from drawings

The Role

• Job Title: Site Supervisor

• Location: Stoke
• Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

• Supervising the highways package
• Monitor and produce good quality of work
• Assisting the site manager with the day-to-day running of the site
• Overseeing the groundworks, drainage and finishing of the development
• Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors
• Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements
• Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time
