Corporate Security Officer - Night Shifts ONLY near Kings Cross

Role: £13.83 p/h, Night Shifts ONLY, shift pattern: 4 on 4 off
Location: the site is located 10 min away from Kings Cross tube station
Joining our team, the Security Officer will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective security service for all of our clients. Having a flexible approach to different sites and clients.
Duties include but not limited to:
- checking Alarm response, maintaining logs
- Ensuring the safety and security of our clients building and assets
- Greeting, assisting and directing members of the public when needed
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
Person Specification:
- Must have a valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Immaculate personal appearance is a MUST
- Flexible and adaptable to work shift patterns as the position may include weekdays, weekends and potentially Bank Holidays.
- IT and Computer Literate (Microsoft Office Package, Google drive)
- Corporate email etiquette
- Corporate experience (at least 5 years)
- Be proactive and a team player
- Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information
- Previous experience would be a definite advantage
- capable to follow written and verbal instructions unsupervised
- Able to deal with underpressures/unexpected situations/emergencies
