Customer Services Agent

In the role of Customer Services Agent you will ensure that SIA’s high standards of Customer Service are met in respect of all arriving and departing passengers as well as supervising the actions of our ground handlers. Perform all aspects of airport operation duties out of Manchester including baggage, ramp, lounge, catering, general clerical and administrative duties.
The post is on a shift work basis including weekends and bank holidays.
A flexible attitude is essential to suit operational requirements as duties will include the requirement to handle off-schedule operations as well as provide additional coverage when required.
The ideal candidate must be articulate and have a passion for customer service. Applicants should possess some knowledge of fares/ticketing and airport procedures, including baggage and reservations/check-in system. Above all, a helpful and pleasant personality, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively, resourcefulness, reliability, ability to learn and adapt quickly and the capacity to handle all types of situations, often under stress, are essential.
You must have the unrestricted right to work and live in the UK and the ability to obtain and retain an airside pass.
