About The Role
Position: Security Manager
Hourly Rate: £16 - £18 depending on experience
Location: Central Manchester
Schedule: Evenings and Weekends - In line with event dates

We are looking for an experienced individual to lead a team ensuring a positive and safe experience for customers and venue team members at various venues within the centre of Manchester. This engaging role is perfect for someone with great people skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage an effective security team.
The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing the deployment and service delivery of the security team, monitoring venue targets, supporting the team reach their potential, and ensuring venue security plans are appropriate and adhered to.

Candidates must hold a valid Door Supervisor or Close Protection SIA licence.
Your main duties will include:
- Maintaining a safe and positive experience for all guests during their time onsite
- Be responsible for all security personnel, manage operations and working within security plans and venue expectations.
- Support and advise on security plans, risk assessments and incident
- Ensure correct incident, searching and patrol reporting from all members of the security
- Carrying out briefs and debriefs, monitoring targets throughout shifts.
- Support the team reach their full potential through their own experiences. Identifying training needs and implementing appropriate
- Managing and communication timekeeping and productivity, feeding back to operations management.
- Liaise with venue management on personnel positions and scheduling of your team
- Ensure venue policies are being implemented by security personnel and adhered to
- Attending regular meetings with Operations Managers with suitable updates and proactive management of any issues
- Build and maintain good relationships with local authorities and emergency services.
