Job Title: Sales Controller
Reporting to: Head of Strategy & Finance

About the role
We have an opportunity for a Sales Controller to join our new car supermarket based in Watford (stocking 350+ used vehicles).
You will be responsible for:
- Setting and delivering sales volume targets
- Advising customers on finance and insurance products and services
- Maximising profitability per unit; Chassis and F&I profit
- Ensuring procedures are followed and keep staff in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Aftersales - liasing with customers and aftersales specialist to resolve aftersales enquiries
- Customer retention
- Hiring and monitoring the performance of the sales execs and hold weekly sales meetings
- Conducting sales mentoring and support
- Daily pricing of stock and removing sold cars from our online platforms
- Making sure customer experience is consistently excellent
About you
This role would suit a Sales Manager/Sales Controller with retail sales experience gained in the motor industry, who has well-developed leadership skills and a deep understanding of all areas of the department.
Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate proven success in management and that you are able to handle conflicting demands.
You will need exceptionally high standards, the ability to bring new and innovative ideas into the department and will continue to drive performance.
The Package
- Basic Salary of up to £30,000 per annum, plus bonuses with OTE of up to £60,000

The Hours
- Week 1: 6 day working week (1 weekday off)
- Week 2: 5 day working week, 2 days off (1 weekday off + Sunday)
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00
- Saturday: 08:30 - 18:00
- Sunday: 09:30 - 18:00
