Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing division are recruiting for an experienced process and people-orientated Production Shift Manager based in Barnsley.

The purpose of the Production Shift Manager is to engage, drive and influence positive change across a vibrant and thriving shop floor carrying a diverse skills base.

This role will operate on a 3 shift pattern.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER:

• Managing and supporting a team of skilled production operatives in a manual and labour-intensive environment
• Drive performance and target achievement with a focus on quality
• Ensure health and safety procedures are in place and adhered to
• Identify, implement and manage continuous improvement projects

PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous team leader/management/supervisory experience in a manual fabrication/assembly/welding production environment
• Process Management and CI experience
• Coaching, training, and development skills
• Excellent communication skills with a good track record of delivering results
