Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing division are recruiting for an experienced process and people-orientated Production Shift Manager based in Barnsley.
The purpose of the Production Shift Manager is to engage, drive and influence positive change across a vibrant and thriving shop floor carrying a diverse skills base.
This role will operate on a 3 shift pattern.

- Managing and supporting a team of skilled production operatives in a manual and labour-intensive environment
- Drive performance and target achievement with a focus on quality
- Ensure health and safety procedures are in place and adhered to
- Identify, implement and manage continuous improvement projects
PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous team leader/management/supervisory experience in a manual fabrication/assembly/welding production environment
- Process Management and CI experience
- Coaching, training, and development skills
- Excellent communication skills with a good track record of delivering results
