Position Summary
We are looking for an Intermediate Account to join our team. We are looking for an individual who works proactively and will provide accurate and timely financial analysis so that the company can make wise decisions with the best information. The position entails maintaining full cycle responsibility for selected files, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation as well as analytics and special project work. You will support the Accounting Manager by producing the month and year end, mastering the financial reporting and general ledgers, and helping with forecasting and budgeting activities.

Responsibilities
- Ensure an accurate and timely close of all monthly, quarterly and year end files
- Work closely with Accounting Manager regarding results, special reporting requests, and project work
- Manage full cycle accounting for selected files
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance departmental operations
- Support budget and forecasting activities
- Preparation of ad hoc analysis and reports as required
- Uphold the strictest level of confidentiality at all times
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ full cycle experience in financial reporting
- Professional accounting designation or working towards completion, will be considered an asset
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, accounting software and databases
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment, multi-task, and deliver under tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work on projects as a team member and independently
- Integrity and professionalism
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of accounting functions and related control processes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
