About the Position
As the designated European member of our in-house IT team, you will provide excellent Tier 2/Tier 3 IT Service Desk support to all European users, solving complex issues escalated to you by our outsourced Tier 1 IT Service Desk vendor. You will also assist with purchasing laptops for users across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This role will have significant global responsibility for day-to-day user onboarding and laptop asset management tasks. You will establish and maintain a strong endpoint (laptop) security posture by leveraging automation and industry best practices by managing endpoints via MDM/UEM tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote Tier 2 IT Service Desk support for all EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region users
- Provide occasional onsite IT support for users within the Belfast office
- Assist with the purchasing of laptops and equipment for EMEA users
- Assist with global inventory management of laptops
- Perform global onboarding of user accounts in all SaaS systems
- Manage source code access in GitHub
- Create and maintain user-facing and IT-facing knowledge-base articles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Service Desk / Help Desk / Analyst role
- Significant troubleshooting and setup experience with macOS
- Familiarity with ITIL methodology and the use of an incident management tool like Jira Service Management or ServiceNow
- Experience with SaaS tools, including at least 3 of the following: Okta, Jamf, InTune, Office 365, Google Workspace, Github, Zoom, Slack, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience interacting with laptop vendors
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working in a regulated industry subject to GDPR, ISO, or SOC 2 preferred
- The ability to bring awareness of security and automation to all aspects of IT
