What You’ll Be Doing:
We’re looking for a Senior Planner to join our team at Leo Burnett.
This will mean contributing strategies to our TUI & McDonald’s account. You’ll have the mentorship & support of one of our star Planning Partners, as well as direct access to our Head of Planning and CSO.
Specifically, we’ll need your help with:
- Owning smaller campaigns and contributing brilliant insights and strategies to bigger campaigns.
- Synthesising a breadth of data & insight resources.
- Developing strong team partnerships, to ensure your influence is felt throughout the process.
- Developing trust with the creative department, by reliably providing insight, inspiration and guidance.
- Developing client relationships, to ensure your output and guidance is listened to and depend on.
- Assisting on other accounts in need of your talents.
What Skills We’re After:
Creative
- The skills to develop simple, inspiring strategies and briefs that can lead to outstanding creative
- The ability to confidently guide a campaign from client briefing to creative production
- A finally honed ability to spot great creative potential
- Strong creative collaboration skills
- The ability to write clear and compelling strategic or creative presentation decks
Culture
- A well-practiced ability to spot a revelatory and inspiring cultural or customer insight
- The ability to use common research tools
- The ability to synthesise complex cultural, customer and commercial information into simple, clear and rigorous stories
- Strong general cultural awareness
Commercial
- Strong understanding of basic creative effectiveness principles
- A well-practiced ability to break down tasks into clear commercial, marketing and communications objectives
- The ability to set and track KPIs
- The ability to construct a competitive review
- Specific category experience not necessary
Client
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the appetite to partner closely with agency team and clients
