What to expect
A generalist role, supporting the HR People Partner in delivering our operational and strategic objectives, ensuring consistency and identifying opportunities to connect and improve.
The Senior HR Consultant will act as a key link to central HR teams and other Senior Consultants, supporting the deployment of cycle plan, operational requirements and project activity in partnership with the HR for HR People Partner. You'll act as a support for the function and an extension of the people partner in projects and work driven by the functional people plan. You'll additionally provide project support to the HR People Partner where functional needs are identified.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Work on HR interventions to support the strategic direction of the business area while ensuring the people strategy / approach is aligned across the business unit.- Support the team in team objectives to drive effective overall Organisation Design within area.
- Provide support to People Partner on national and local HR projects and initiatives.
- Support the ongoing development of people capability in the line management population.
- Support organisational change initiatives to ensure strategic business objectives are met.
- Cross functional working with the Experience and Shared Service teams and wider HR community to deliver people strategies / initiatives.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.
- Work collaboratively with all areas of HR to ensure that deliverables are met and process improvements/lessons learned are implemented for future projects where necessary
- Ensure that an active role is taken in the Global Partnering Community
- Be proactive in identifying own development/upskilling requirements.
What you’ll need
Previous experience in Human Resources gained at Advisor level.- Experience of involvement in HR projects and project management capabilities
- Ability to multi-task a high personal workload, balancing delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery
- Experience of working within a complex HR structure with numerous internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledgeable within HR practices, including areas of organisation, capability and engagement.
- Previous experience of working with multiple stakeholders to drive and deliver the right outcomes for the business as well as function.
- Ability to present complex issues in a succinct & straightforward manner to all levels of the business.
- Customer focused – ability to determine service requirements and performance measures.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, ability to interpret and manipulate data.
