The Beacon Health Group Partnership operates over three sites. The main site, Danbury Medical Centre is based in the village of Danbury. We have two smaller branch sites which are Mountbatten House Surgery (based in North Springfield) and Moulsham Lodge Surgery (based in central Chelmsford).
The Beacon Health Group is now able to offer our patients a wider variety of services ranging from chronic disease clinics to minor surgery services (performed within the new purpose built Minor Surgery Suite based at Danbury). We also provide Friday extended morning appointments between 7.00am-8.00am, Monday and Wednesday evening appointments between 6.30pm-8.00pm provided by GPs and Nurses.

Due to the size of our Group, the Beacon Health Group is an exceptionally diverse and forward thinking practice. Currently we are recruiting for a new management position within the Group of Clinical Manager.
This role will report directly into the Group Practice Manager and will be responsible for all the clinical teams in the organisation including the GP's, Nurses, Pharmacists & Hub. This individual will be the line manager for each of the Department Heads in each team and directly line manage the salaried GP team.
The Clinical Manager will be responsible for reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure as well being the lead with regards to clinical supervision, investigation and compliance across the teams.
The individual will be responsible for providing appropriate clinical support, within their scope of practice, to the teams. It is expected that the candidate will be NMC, GMC or GPhC registered.
This role is available up to full time or on a part time basis with the salary for the role at £50,000 per annum FTE.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Line manage the department leads of the Pharmacy, Nurse and Hub teams as well the Salaried GP team.
- Be responsible for ensuring clinical procedures are followed to ensure patient safety is at the heart of all care provided by the Group
- Support the clinical teams to meet the standards required in their professions
- Be accountable for investigating, responding to and managing clinical incidents and relevant patient complaints through managing the individuals directly involved
- Develop, maintain and deliver the clinical audit plan for the group
- Complete all actions and tasks as assigned via the clinical safety system on time and promptly
- Accountable for ensuring that clinical policies are maintained in line with relevant clinical guidelines
