About Our Client
Our client is an establish, and successful, wholesale nursery. They are located across 3 sites and are dedicated to producing high quality plants for their customers.
About the Role
As a Grower, you will be responsible for growing bedding and herbaceous plants in polytunnels and in glass. You will be carrying out duties such as monitoring for pest and diseases and coming up with solutions, spraying, plant husbandry and all aspects of plant production. Managing a small team will also fall into your remit.
The Ideal Candidate
We are ideally looking for growers from a bedding plant background or a commercial nursery environment. You will be happy to work in a fast-paced sector in a large commercial nursery. You will have your PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates and be willing to get stuck in with all aspects of bedding plant production.
