Roxinford Education Group is currently recruiting for an experienced and self-motivated market research analyst to join our expanding team in our London office.
Reporting to: Director of Operations
Hours of work:
38 hours per week (Full-time)
Summary of job description:
The Market Research Analyst is responsible for conducting primary and secondary research to gather relevant information about the online education industry, as well as the company's products and services.
The successful candidate is expected to develop and implement research plans to collect and analyse data, stay up-to-date with market trends to identify new opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing strategies, and monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. This role is integral to expanding the company's growth in the global online learning market.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
You are responsible for the following:
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather relevant information about the online education industry and related markets
- Develop and implement research plans and methodologies to collect and analyse data
- Analyse data using statistical methods, create reports and present findings to management
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry news to identify opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing strategies
- Use data visualisation tools, such as Looker Studio and Canva, to create charts, graphs, and other visual aids to communicate research findings
- Monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads Manager, and Google Search Console, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- Meet targets and personal development objectives
- Any other duties as required from time to time by Management
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Academic Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree
- A first degree related to Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Experience/Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent knowledge in market research, digital marketing, and social media, preferably in the education industry
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g. Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite,
Google Ads Manager and Google Search Console)
- Experience using data visualisation tools e.g. Looker Studio and Canva
- Experience with online learning platforms or e-learning technologies preferred
- Knowledge of survey design and implementation, e.g. Survey Monkey and Google Forms
- Excellent communication/presentation skills - ability to analyse and clearly present statistical material, with high standard of numeracy and literacy - written and verbal
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organisational skills - ability to multitask and experienced in time management
- Culture is important to our company; cross-cultural competence is essential
- Excellent IT skills including experience with Windows-based applications such as Google Suite, Sales Quotation app, CRM and Mailchimp
