Job description
We currently have an opportunity available for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Although an existing relevant qualification would be an advantage it isn't compulsory and all training will be provided. We have 3 x 12 hour shifts available, shift times are 08:00 to 20:00 and 14:00 to 20:00, worked between Monday to Sunday.
Please be aware that because of the location of the home, public transport is scarce especially on evenings and weekends, applicants should either be able to drive and have their own vehicle or have some other reliable means of getting to work..

What you can expect your duties to include (this list is an example and not an exhaustive list of duties):
- Supporting and/or enabling residents with activities of daily living (including washing, dressing, feeding, mobilising), following their individual care plans
- Escorting residents on arranged medical or social trips
- General day to day social interaction, enabling and encouraging independence where possible
- Promoting and maintaining our resident's privacy, choice, personal dignity, independence and comfort at all times
- At all times being aware of and working to the principles of -
Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Infection Control, Confidentiality
