Do you have 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience in a software development environment?
Are you looking to develop your BA career within a rapidly scaling payments software business?
The ClearAccept multi-channel payments platform includes a wide range of card machines, an online payment solution, a virtual terminal, and pay by link – plus a top-class fraud monitoring solution. We now have over 1000 customers and are approaching £1bn of payment flow. We’re also about to launch our class-leading integrated Android card machine with Pay at Table, and will be the first in the UK to offer the integrated Android device with a business app for software platforms and their customers.
As a key member of the ClearAccept product team, you will work closely with Product Owners to elaborate User Stories so they can be delivered by ClearAccept’s internal development team and external development partners. You will operate across multiple workstreams delivering features for the ClearAccept payment platform as well as supporting Operational teams with go-live activities.
Required skills & experience:
- 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience in a software development environment
- Ability to translate complex scenarios into visual format eg process flows, mind maps, sequence diagrams, other collateral the team may need to communicate requirements
- Translating User Stories into GIVEN, WHEN, THEN “Feature Files” or “Feature Specs”
- Understanding of REST APIs
- Use of tools such as Postman to observe behavior of APIs
- Experience of working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience of working with a mix of near and onshore development teams
- Experience of working in Financial Services as a Technical Business Analyst in a software development environment
Desired skills & experience:
- Experience of working for a Payment Gateway, Acquirer, Card Scheme, Payment Method
- Experience of Online or Face to Face (Point of Sale) payments
