Job description

To provide a comprehensive, confidential high quality administrative support service to the Service Director and senior management team.

To proactively manage projects by sourcing and processing information, of a highly complex and sensitive nature.

Where appropriate to manage executive assistants and other administrative staff in line with service needs.

Manage the directorate management office and manage the administration cover arrangements within the directorate/team at times of staff absence in conjunction with Head of Administration when appropriate.

Are you an experienced Senior Executive Assistant with a positive attitude, the ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting deadlines and have previous NHS experience.

The role requires someone with a flexible, focused and positive attitude. The role is varied with a demanding workload and should be able to recognise the changing needs of the Service Director, Deputy Director and senior management team in line with service requirements.

Senior Executive Assistant (SEA) to supportService Director and Deputy Service Director – Community Health Services

The role of senior executive assistant to the Service Directorate for Community Health Services London (CHN & THCHS). The role also requires support for the Deputy Director CHN and senior management team as required.

The successful candidate

Will have previous NHS experience supporting senior management at Director level (min 2 years).

Be assertive and confident but have empathy and tact in sensitive situations.

Have proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Be experienced in diary management, excellent minute/action taking skills and support with reports.

Able to deal with complex issues and excellent communication at all levels.

Ability to use own initiative but also be a team player.

Able to stay calm under pressure.

Be a forward thinker who looks at opportunities and offer solutions

High standard of Microsoft Office Package.
