We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Change Reporting Analyst to join our Operational Excellence team in either our Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex office.

You’ll be working with the leadership team and focussing on the provision of reporting, insight and analysis on the value delivered across continuous improvement the ‘First Central Way’ and the change portfolio. You’ll help the organisation to articulate and measure both business outcomes and how value is delivered.

You’ll be great in this role if you have:

  • Analytical skills including turning data into actionable insights (story telling with data)
  • Strong senior stakeholder engagement and the ability to build relationships and influence
  • Appreciation of Change and or Lean / Agile principles and methods

Whats Involved:

  • Evolve the portfolio level view of all in-flight change initiatives
  • Support the business in the articulation and measurement of business outcomes by collating and analysing data across all elements of the end-to-end change delivery ‘system’. This covers all elements of value, flow and quality and covers people, process and technology
  • Evolve and maintain department-wide tools and processes ensuring effective change delivery and the collection of value-add management information, i.e. Capacity Planner and Timesheets.
  • Support the business to identify leading and lagging measure data and provide a consolidated view at the required cadence
  • Support the business to utilise reporting to inspect and adapt on their defined outcomes
  • Provide insights into what the data is showing and work effectively with the business to measure the impact of agreed experiments to improve performance
  • Define and iterate the insights capability, ensuring reporting is accurate and at the highest standard
  • Support the PMO analyst to conduct in-depth quantitative analysis of business data to derive meaningful conclusions and insights that lead to actionable recommendations
  • Analyse and communicate complex data from multiple internal and external data sources and create insightful summaries and visualisations to enable informed decision making
  • Support the senior leadership team (up to Executive Committee) in understanding whether expected business and customer outcomes are delivered as per the business plan, offering challenge when alternative strategies or priorities may have to be considered
  • Align to First Central’s Change Framework and Continuous Improvement the ‘First Central Way’ contributing to its ongoing development
  • Provide reporting, insight and analysis to the senior leadership team in order to inform future strategies
  • Review and implement ways to continuously improve the reporting of portfolio performance
  • Support the PMO analyst to ensure costs/benefits are actively managed, clearly defined and associated KPIs/metrics are known and understood
  • Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory procedures to improve risk management and ensure strong audit performance.
  • Responsibility for maintaining department risk registers (as applicable), providing evidence and commentary for controls, updates for Mitigation Actions and maintaining control matrices and attestations.
  • Comply with the requirements, and act in accordance with, the Group Code of Conduct and Fitness and Propriety policies at all times
  • Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Values and guidelines and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times
  • Any other reasonable duties as required

Your Experience

  • Experience in application of the fundamental principles of value delivery
  • Demonstrable ability to support a team going through significant organisational change (new ways of working aligned to agile methodology)
  • Demonstrable portfolio management experience and agile delivery - ideally SAFe Certified
  • Proficiency in working with a range of data sources
  • Experience in effectively visualising complex data, designing, presenting and preparing reporting information in multiple formats for different audiences
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Knowledge/awareness of all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Tools: Highly proficient skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint, PowerBi (ADO/JIRA/HIVE preferable)
  • Experience of senior stakeholder management and presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Experience of reviewing and improving PMO best practices
