Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus generous bonus package
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Position Overview
As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will be a key driver in expanding our customer base and revenue streams. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities throughout the sales cycle. Your expertise in developing compelling value propositions and building strong relationships will be instrumental in your success. Location and Compensation
This position is based in our modern and vibrant office located in Paddock Wood. As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000, commensurate with your experience and achievements. Additionally, we offer an attractive bonus package that rewards exceptional performance and contributions to our company's success.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture a robust pipeline of business opportunities, utilising your initiative to identify, contact, and engage potential clients throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Leverage available data to support the creation of accurate sales forecasts, adapting strategies to address macroeconomic and industry changes.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Director to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our customer base.
- Manage your pipeline, forecasts, and sales updates with precision and accuracy.
- Deliver sales and profit in line with forecasts, while understanding the key drivers that impact both gross and net profit.
- Communicate, consult, collaborate, and co-create with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Act as a role model within the organisation, working closely with other departments and contributing to the overall success of the business.
- Ensure accurate reporting on sales metrics, providing valuable business insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Help shape the culture and values of the company by exemplifying the behaviours and standards expected of the team.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation, including director and C-level executives.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals effectively.
- Highly numerate, comfortable working with spreadsheets and constructing detailed financial models.
- Possess a growth mindset, continuously seeking personal and professional development opportunities.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a natural flair for storytelling.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with a hunger for setting and surpassing ambitious goals.
- Polished presentation skills, capable of captivating audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Exceptional knowledge and proficiency in using CRM systems to manage and track sales activities.
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive the sales process from planning to closure.
- Proven ability to articulate the unique value proposition of products and services, positioning them against competitors.
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior BDM, developing client-focused solutions that are differentiated and achievable.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
