Job description
We have an exciting opportunity arise in our drawing office for an AutoCAD /Tekla draughtsperson. The right candidate would preferably have;
- AutoCAD/ Tekla experience, although not this is not essential and training can be given.
- Able to interpret information from various sources and apply to drawings.
- Attention to detail
- An interest in the design of architectural and structural steelwork
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Windows operating systems.
- Are happy to work as part of a team but also work well on their own once given a task.
As a draughtsperson you will be responsible for creating GA drawings to send to clients for approval, and then proceed with creating fabrication drawings, material lists etc.
We operate on a 8:30 til 17:00 work day Mon - Fri, however can be flexible to suit the right candidate. We offer 20 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, with an additional 2 days annual leave after 5 years. We have a company pension scheme and also cover costs of eye tests for DSE use.
