SEN Teacher Full Time Temp to Perm September Start SEN School West London £150 - £210 p/d Are you ready to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teacher to join a lovely SEN School in the heart of West London. As an SEN Teacher in this Key Stage 2 ASC class, you will have the chance to inspire and nurture young minds every day. You will be working in a supportive and inclusive environment, where every child's progress is celebrated. This is a full-time role, initially through the agency, but with a strong possibility of a straight position. Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher: - Create and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of each student in the class. - Develop engaging and interactive teaching methods to encourage active participation and learning. - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic growth. - Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, to provide a holistic approach to learning. - Regularly assess and track students' progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly to ensure maximum development. - Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies to support students with additional needs. - Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in the learning process. - Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent evenings to contribute to the school's ongoing development and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and families.
