Personal assistant to the clinical director of Behavioural Referrals Practice
The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a personal assistant to the Clinical Director of Behavioural Referrals- Dr
Sarah Heath FRCVS.
Responsibilities include:
- Being responsible for Behavioural Productions – this is solely focused on Sarah’s lectures and teaching for external companies, UK and worldwide. This is not related to Behavioural
Referrals.
- Liaising with companies to organise meetings/ lectures and agreeing on costs and expenses – mainly over email.
- Working closely with our accountant to organise payment from external companies.
- Booking travel and accommodation for Sarah’s business travels.
- Organising and monitoring Behavioural Productions inbox and keeping track of deadlines.
- Organising emails and monitoring Sarah’s task list for Behavioural Referrals, prioritising and discussing next steps with Sarah.
- Organising Sarah’s paperwork for consultations, collecting them post consult and completing anything necessary needed. I.e. writing up reports or passing anything necessary onto our rehabilitation team/ veterinary nurse.
- Assisting Sarah with her pets, Jamie- Sarah’s beautiful Flat Coated Retriever- this will include some morning and afternoon walks and feeding This is alongside a dog walker so times would be organised. You can work from Sarah’s office at her house to enable you to look after Jamie. Sarah also has 2 cats, Luis and Didi, who will on occasions need feeding.
- Some evening and weekend care of Jamie would be ideal- we can arrange flexible working hours through the week if this should occur.
- · Assisting Sarah with the small Air BnB bookings we currently have in the office (2 bedsits), this involves organising the diary, responding to requests and cleaning the bedsits.
Our ideal candidate would have a passion for animals, be very organised, able to meet deadlines and have good attention to detail. Flexible working for weekends is desired but not essential. Good computer skills and excellent communication.

Salary: £10.42 per hour
