Job description
Orka Financial is partnering with a leading financial services provider who are looking to recruit a Junior Management Accountant to join their finance team in a broad transactional role which comes with exposure to month end tasks and financial reporting.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and keen to progress within their accounting career and be an AAT/ACCA studier. The Junior Management Accountant role comes with a hybrid working model and excellent company benefits along with full training and development working closely with the Finance Manager.
- Monitor the finance email in boxes
- Transactional processing (accounts payable &receivable)
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist month end process, including prepayments and accruals
- Review financial data and prepare management accounts monthly
- Assist co-ordination of the payroll function
- Prepare VAT
- Set up payment runs
AAT/ACCA studier
Solid communication skills,both written and verbal; comfortable presenting
Knowledge of supporting a finance team
Salary £24,000 - £25,000 + study support + hybrid working model
