Job description
We require a herds person/ general farm worker to work as a part of a small and friendly team. We run a herd of 480 Holstein-friesian cows, calving in the Autumn.
The role will include milking on rota with other team members and all aspects of livestock husbandry. We encourage people to develop on farm through training and move on to higher responsibility. Role can be tailored to suit experience and include tractor work.
Some experience is advantageous along with a willingness to learn. Pay will be dependent upon experience, however training will be provided and pay rise will follow progression with skills learnt.
