About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven individual to join our Security Department in the capacity of Hotel Security Officer. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of staff, guests and visitors on site.
You will conduct routine security checks, entrance checks and support existing security staff on their routine duties. This role requires tact and diplomacy- you must have the ability to assess situations quickly and act in a timely and appropriate manner in any circumstances requiring attention. Additionally, our security officers are often conversing and welcoming hotel guests and must be confident and comfortable with conversations, requests, and the layout and details of the hotel.
Entry Requirements
- Security experience, luxury sector preferred
- Knowledge of fire and first-aid procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enthusiasm in delivering service
- Ability to work and remain calm under pressure
- Has a good command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Displays a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
