Seasonal Gift Packing Operatives Are you looking for a multi-skilled role that involves order processing and assembling gift packages, then look no further! Here at Hemingways, we are currently looking for Seasonal Gift Packing Operatives to support our growing, friendly team over the Christmas period. Who are we? Hemingways is home to Voucher Express, Vex Rewards, Cadbury Gifts Direct, Green & Black’s and your first destination for both UK and international business gifts. Hemingways is a specialist e-commerce, sales and distribution company representing a wide range of major UK and international brands, promoting and selling their products to consumers and corporate markets. The company employs over 170 people, and over 300 during peak trading. Hemingways is recognised as one of the fastest growing private companies in the North with turnover exceeding £200m. Operating hours- Full Time roles and Part time roles are available. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. START DATE- Immediate start. END DATE To be confirmed, but the role will be running until Christmas/ New Year. Rate of pay- £10.42 per hour. Holidays will be accrued after 6 weeks of working. Please note we cannot allow any holidays throughout December as this is our peak operation time. Main duties and responsibilities include- Assembling gift packages, applying high standards of quality, presentation, and attention to detail. Ability to work at a fast pace without sacrificing quality and presentation standards. Proactively communicate with colleagues and line leaders about issues, e.g stock items running low. Ensuring hygiene and housekeeping standard are met and exceeded. Responsible for your health and safety. Plus watching out for the health and safety of others. You will be responsible for your own PPE and the washing of it. Be flexible around working hours, including the weekend shifts. Use of scanning and labelling systems.
