The Role
We’re seeking an understanding and compassionate Care / Support Worker to join our team on a permanent basis, working days. We are open to full-time and part-time hours for this role.
As a Care / Support Worker, you’ll provide an exceptional care service to our residential clients with learning disabilities.
Joining our friendly team, you’ll support our clients to increase their independence and stay busy and engaged. You’ll typically be working on a one-to-one basis, assisting with a broad range of fun activities such as baking and crafts as well as personal care and medication needs. You will also support our clients to access their local community by accompanying them when they go shopping, trips to the cinema, walks in the village or enjoy a lovely fish and chip supper.
Unlike most care work positions you’ll only be required to work day shifts, enabling you to maintain a great work/life balance and thrive in your role.
What’s more, with full training and shadowing provided, as well as our full support to obtain professional qualifications, this is the perfect role in which to begin your rewarding career in the social care industry.
About You
To be considered as a Care / Support Worker, no previous experience is required.Instead, we are looking for someone who is compassionate, kind and friendly who can build close relationships with our service users.
Please note, if you have experience caring for an individual, the pay rate will reflect this.
