We have an open position for Drupal Developer to support our Federal program in Washington DC
Activities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
The website oversight, editing, updating, general changes as required using Drupal.
Creates, organizes, adapts, and curates content for use on digital platforms including Drupal-based web solutions
Writes and edits content for website, both digital and hardcopy.
Prepares documents and ensures the accessibility to meet 508 compliance standards
Provides technical and administrative support for special web-based, email, or hard copy marketing projects.
Responsible for using, reporting findings, and providing recommendations on Business information systems that track success of websites and other digital media, such as Google Analytics or another similar tool.
Graphical design and production support to the website, and other communications and promotional materials as needed. This is often completed using Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, InDesign, and other media software
Graphical design support and content
Creates forms and surveys
Development of online forms to be used for the solicitation of information that can be collected, stored, and later analyzed
Serves as primary contact and liaison for the website. This may include participation in Drupal upgrades/migrations/redesigns and troubleshooting
Ensures all published content meets established standards for design, search optimization, usability, mobile readiness, component usage, accessibility, and accuracy.
Working knowledge of basic HMTL and web development technologies. • Ability to troubleshoot issues
Minimum Skills and Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of experience developing presentations, PowerPoint slides, infographics, illustrations, graphs, charts, and diagrams in varied formats
Experience in graphic design and computer programming
Proficiency in web design using HTML, Java Script, Photo Shop, InDesign, Illustrator
Skilled in Google Analytics and Drupal
Experience in video programming
Expertise with web writing best practices and adhering to editorial style guides
Exceptional writing and proofreading skills
Proficient working knowledge MS Office 365 products
