Scrum Master
Lloyds Banking Group, Everyday Banking Lab
Location: London based with flexibility to work from home 3 days per week and 2 days in the London office.
Salary & Benefits: £61,176 to £76,470 base salary, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

LBG Labs:
Lloyds Banking Group are transforming the way we do Engineering. We’ve created “Platforms” and we're building multi-functional, co-located teams giving them freedom to bring technology to the forefront of our business. This will help us create new, and improve existing, products and services to help us really make a difference to our customers.
Everyday Banking is a key platform for Lloyds Banking Group with a very broad reach across the Bank’s customer base and a diverse stakeholder group. The platform is responsible for the end-to-end journeys for personal current accounts and savings products to consumers and providing a market leading customer experience through the servicing of Debit and Credit cards through multiple channels. The platform also includes the Core Banking System and Vault Banking Products labs who support the run and change needed to operate all core banking products for the LBG brands, product APIs, transaction and statement services that are needed for channel interactions
What We Are Looking For:
Proactive, motivated and confident in offering mentorship, support and leadership at a team level
Brings energy and enthusiasm to work and motivates team members
Passionate about Agile and embedding the principles across the team and the wider organisation
A continuous improvement / learning mentality with an energy and ambition to finding new ways of working and empowering teams to seek new challenges
Required Skills:
Experienced Scrum Master with proven capability of agile application and scrum techniques
Ability to facilitate problem solving events with team members to address challenges and roadblocks
Able to support and help colleague encountering issues and impediments in their work
Experience of influencing behaviours and Agile ways of working cross-team and cross-discipline
Experience in financial services or large corporate environments in technical delivery
What we need from you:
Embody true servant leadership to Identify and remediate impediments/recurring blockers, protect the team from distractions that interfere with the ability to deliver the sprint goals
Act as agent of change for issues across the lab, leading by example for implementing improvements
Foster a motivating culture of openness to help the team continuously improve their efficiency and deliver incremental value to customers & colleagues, whilst adapting to customer & colleague feedback
Encourage a culture of learning and curiosity across disciplines and lead by example
Provide necessary reports about progress (velocity, burn downs), status and other metrics as desired to inform learning and experimentation
