Desk Sales Agent - Outbound

Location: Liskeard Office

Salary: £25,500 per annum and commission (to be discussed at interview)


Role Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Desk Sales Agent (Outbound) is to call prospective customers of Wildanet and convert into sales, driving positive revenue and maximise sales opportunities.


Main Responsibilities:
The Desk Sales Agents will manage the Outbound call volume and demand, lead call campaigns that have been allocated and drive excellent sales conversion using cold or warmed up sales data. The successful candidates will maximise sales conversion and upsell and cross sell packages that match our customers’ needs.


Key Activities:


While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include:


  • Helping customers to make the move to Wildanet, making phone-based sales from Outbound cold calling as well as warmer outbound campaigns driven by the Sales & Marketing Team.
  • Helping customers find pre-contract solutions and processing sales via web chat.
  • Ensure all orders are processed efficiently & effectively using Wildanet ordering system.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure they are fully updated with order / installation progress.
  • Work closely with other members of the Wildanet Team and transferring customers to right departments when required.
  • Ensuring quality and compliance standards
  • Meeting and exceeding operational sales targets consistently.
  • Demonstrating and enforcing company standards and brand value.


Essential Person Specification


Knowledge:


  • Basic IT Knowledge, Internet, and Social Networking understanding
  • Telecommunications experience is desirable

Skills/Attributes:


  • Must have strong sales experience and be passionate about sales, with a desire to exceed all sales target set.
  • Excellent computer skills, ability to multitask using multiple systems.
  • Good telephone manner with an ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • Able to deal with different customer concerns, questions and objections ensuring that all interactions result in a positive experience for the customer regardless of the outcome of the contact.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
  • Customer / team centric
  • Basic MS Office knowledge.
  • Ability to take on tasks and complete in a timely manner and deliver as expected.


Experience:


  • Previous Sales experience Direct or In-Direct
  • Experience of outbound calling based on cold data

Qualifications:


  • Good level of education, including literacy and numeracy skills

Circumstances:


  • Variable shift patterns on a rota basis
  • Shift patterns include: 9am- 5pm &11am – 7pm
  • 1 in 4 weekend working will be required
  • Hybrid working available.
  • Individuals will have to be resilient, with strong active listening skills.
