NEW & USED CARAVAN & CAMPER SALES PERSON
Previous sales experience is essential
Duties to include –
· Meet and greet customers, dealing with enquiries
- Delivery of a high standard of customer service
- Dealing with enquiries via telephone, email and face to face
- Recognise, process and follow-up sales prospects
- Seek to generate new business by active prospecting and use of other marketing methods
- Build and maintain great relationships with existing and new customers to maximise future sales
- Closing sales by overcoming objections, negotiation, etc.
- Sell additional dealership services to increase continued custom
- Maintain accurate records of customer requirements, completing sales contracts and other sales administration
- Raise the profile of the dealership and enhancing the reputation of the business
· Providing comprehensive live demonstrations on the workings of a caravan identifying and explaining all on board systems and controls
· Conducting accurate unit appraisals upon receipt of a caravan or for part exchange purposes
- Performing any other ad-hock tasks, as required, which will help to contribute to the overall performance of the company
- Representing the company at national caravan and camping exhibitions
KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A full UK driving licence (with the capability to tow, is desirable for this position)
- Ability to use IPad and Desktop
- Target driven
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Team player
- Must be able to attend off site exhibitions, including some overnight stays
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Ideal candidates will be personable, approachable, self motivated with a flexible attitude to work. Knowledge of caravans is desirable but not essential. The ability to maintain up to date product knowledge regards options, standard equipment and specifications is essential. Professional, smart appearance, with a great work ethic. Self-starter with high energy levels. Flexibility to work weekends and Bank Holidays
