External Sales Representative
APP want to strengthen its external sales team by recruiting a new externally based sales representative. Our sales team manage a large portfolio of customers and APP want to be able to offer more face-to-face support to maintain relationships with these long-term customers.
APP have always prided themselves on our customer service along with strength and depth of product knowledge inherent throughout the business and it is this attitude and expertise that has kept customers returning year after year.
APP are now proactively looking to ensure the next generation of employees are in place to maintain the highest level of service to its customers.
APP would like to recruit a driven and committed individual, preferably with a technical background, to fulfil this role.
The candidate would be tasked with:
- Managing a portfolio of existing customers
- Maintaining a contact log
- Developing new customers
- Promoting new products
- Offering technical support as and when required
- Dealing with customer queries
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop APP business through external based sales and marketing of products and services
- Provision of First Class Customer Support
- Liaise with new and existing customers on a regular basis
- Generate enquiries from customers
- Work with internal Sales team and external suppliers to develop new products and services
- Work with sales team to identify, maximise and develop sales opportunities
- Support Sales and Marketing Activities
- Establish and increase awareness of APP, business, products and services
- Provide effective account management
- Operate in a structured manner, adhering to companies systems and protocol
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- At least 2 years working in similar environment
- Knowledge of Market and Customers
- Good communication and presentational skills
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

- Sales: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving License (preferred)
