Logistics Administrator - HD6 Brighouse, England
Job description
- Managing the delivery of imported products from countries across the globe, into the warehouse
- Dealing with all logistics and administration for each delivery, including liaising with customers about their requirements, use of shipper portals and customs clearance
- Liaising with the sales, purchasing, warehouse and transport teams
- Updating stock and order records in Sage 200
- Demanding analysis and forecasting using Excel
- Keeping supplier/product data current and sharing with customers as needed
- Maintaining good relationships with warehouse and transport partners to meet the needs of the business
- Various admin to support purchasing and technical teams
Experience required:
- At least 3 years’ experience of logistics
- Proficiency on Sage 200 and a good ability to use Excel
- A good eye for detail and ability to work simultaneously on a number of different tasks
- Proactively manage, prioritise and problem solve confidently
- And be a highly organised team player
