Job title: Library Support Assistant x 3 posts
Working Pattern: Saturdays 9 to 5, permanent position, 7 hours per week
Salary: Grade 1 £23,475 to £24,012 (pro rata for 7hrs)
Location: All roles will require staff to travel to any of Croydon’s Libraries
About the Role: As a Library Support Assistant you will be part of a team delivering Croydon’s library services directly to our customers. This will include delivering high quality customer service, supporting the delivery of activities and events and assisting customers with accessing online information and other resources. Promotion of all services to a wide range of customers is also a key part of the role.
You will need to be
- Interested in customer service with good communication skills
- Interested in libraries and serving Croydon’s diverse communities
- A team worker
- Enthusiastic in your approach to engagement with customers of all ages
