Assistant SEND Caseworkers
The SEN team is responsible for carrying out Education Health & Care (EHC) needs assessments, issuing and maintaining EHC plans and coordinating the educational placement of children and young people with SEND. This team is dedicated to moving forward with continuous improvement and working towards robust and positive outcomes for our children and young people.
We are seeking highly motivated assistant SEND caseworkers to fill two permanent posts. The successful candidates will act as the first point of contact for all general SEND calls and will be required to deal effectively with queries from schools and parents about the progress of SEND Statutory Assessments and other related matters. With this in mind, experience of liaising with children, families and professionals, together with experience of SEN processes and legislation is essential. The ability to use the Synergy education management software is desirable.
