Summary: Our FootJoy team is looking for an Associate Sales Representative for our North/Central California territory to sell and service the appropriate FootJoy product line to assigned FootJoy direct accounts. The 2023 Sales projection for this territory is approximately $1.8M; covering approximately 130 accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve individual product line sales and distribution objectives as assigned by Sales Management to achieve total Company objectives.
- Fulfill administrative duties: comply with FootJoy's pricing programs, policies and procedures; efficient, timely, accurate order entry into laptop; accurate and active administration of car-stock; accurate record of promotional budget; accurate account files and records.
- Actively merchandise and maintain FootJoy products including displays and POP promotional materials to promote sell through and minimize product returns.
- Customer Relations: establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with a "customer focused" attitude regardless of volume, potential or credit status.
- Timely follow-up on phone calls, customer requests, handling customer issues/problems with a positive outcome.
- Balance customer expectations with corporate objectives.
- Promote FootJoy Brand and products at Sectional, State and other designated Championship events, in addition to daily Pyramid of Influence work with PGA Pros, Assistants and Key Amateurs.
- Assist other FJ Sales Reps with various duties at the direction of the Director of Sales.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Sales experience is preferred, and Golf industry knowledge is essential.
- Strong digital skills relating to processing customer data and orders.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory with overnight trips necessary to achieve Sales, Distribution, Pyramid of Influence and Service objections.
- Future territory mobility is expected.
