What's the role?
£31,000 - £34,000 basic salary per year plus variable OTE starting at £7,000 (uncapped annually).
This role also comes with a Hilti branded van, mobile phone and tablet. Full, valid manual driving license is required.
We are looking for our future team members and building a pipeline of talent to join our diverse and successful GB Projects team working in and around London.
As a Sales Project Specialist, you’ll find yourself actively driving the key projects pipeline in your area through strong sales interactions and own client activities. The role will see you overlooking a project portfolio to co-ordinate pre-construction planning, forward specification and live construction stages through a collaborative approach involving Hilti colleagues.

What does the role involve?
- Work pro-actively with key decision makers within the building owner, main contractors and appointed supply chain to understand their business needs and maximise sales
- Develop sales opportunities for both existing product range, whilst promoting digital adoption and industry innovation
- Increase engagement with customers for the long term – driving an approach focused on our core business units.
- Establish clear and consistent tendering processes to ensure sustainable profitable growth and market fairness
- Compile application solutions to meet the clients technical and/or commercial needs with presentations of the bids to the client.
- Maintain a high self-drive and commitment to results always
- Assessing / adhering to risk assessments and HSE
- Monitoring of industry developments on macro and micro-economic factors that impact projected execution
- Assess forecasted and oversee projects costs to ensure they remain in line with forecasts
- Visiting construction sites
- Develop consistent relationships ranging from Senior Stakeholders, middle line management and installers co-ordinating the relevant activities specific to their individual needs
- Completing work quality inspections and having the ability to read construction drawings

What you need is:
- Experience of working in a construction related occupation
- Experience of direct selling sales
- Clear demonstration of understanding or relationships with key players/customers
- An interest in continuous learning and self-development
- Open to the use of public transport (subject to location) and wearing PPE
- Valid driving license to UK DVLA requirements
- Qualifications in Engineering or Project Management at degree or NVQ level desirable but not essential
- Experience of using a CRM system in particular Salesforce

Once you're in the formal process, there are three stages – a first interview with a Regional Manager, a day-in-the-life 'field ride' to give you a real feel for the job and a final interview with a Sales Director. We'll also pay your expenses if you have to travel to meet us.
