We’re seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to join our team as we move into the next exciting phase of business.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Company Director you will be responsible for the company’s Sales strategy and the day-to-day management of all sales duties. Your overall goal will be to increase the company’s sales revenue, developing and delivering on targets and KPIs.
This role comes with uncapped commission, the more you sell, the more you earn! So you should be someone who is hungry for success and with a proven track record of smashing targets. You will be a performance-driven self-starter who is confident in defining your own working week. You’ll be as comfortable with meeting clients in person and picking up the phone as you are with email communication.
We’re a small, friendly bakery with a shared ethos of delivering stand-out treats, building lasting customer relationships and delivering consistent quality. We’re looking for someone who can embody our ethos and sell our products with pride!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for all sales and marketing activities
- Target and grow new business, namely wholesale and corporate accounts
- Liaise with marketing and our external web agency to oversee & drive the growth of e-commerce sales
- Offer excellent account management to nurture and grow existing customer base
- Become a real brand ambassador by developing an in-depth knowledge of our delicious treats and services to identify profitable business opportunities and become an expert for your customer base
- Meet with customers and arrange for product samples from production team to drive sales
- Actively contribute to establishing budgets, sales pipeline, reporting and forecasting
- Be responsible for hiring, training, and managing all sales team members
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years of previous sales experience
- Someone who is hungry for success and results driven
- Previous experience in the food retail industry would be ideal, but not a must
- Advertising/marketing knowledge will be a huge plus
- High level of written and spoken English, strong on written and numerical accuracy
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Must be comfortable managing, building and developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met
