Sales Development Representative (SDR)

  • The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will follow a predefined sales
model and be responsible for opening opportunities with key decision-makers
across a variety of industries. The SDR will work closely with the Marketing
Director who will devise a bi-weekly campaign for you to maximize your earnings.
Ambitious salespeople with a strong track record should apply for this role. This
is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing team
and business with offices in Ireland and South Africa.

Tasks

THE ROLE
  • Learn a new sales process and use it to generate new sales opportunities via
outbound calling, emailing and social prospecting.
  • Identify customer needs and opportunities
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of viable opportunities
  • Effectively leverage CRM tools to work systematically through deals
  • Exceed revenue targets with a strategic outbound sales approach
  • Set qualified appointments for the Account Executive team to demo the
ProcurementExpress platform solution to key decision-makers
  • Develop strategies to address industry issues and challenges encountered
  • Become proficient using the ProcurementExpress platform
  • Prepare and present regular weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Attend regular coaching session and sales meetings
Requirements

THE PROFILE
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in technology sales
  • Proven track record of generating qualified appointments and experience in
technology would be considered as a plus
  • Great phone manner and accustomed to making a minimum of 80+ outbounds
per day (a combination of calls, emails, social prospecting)
  • Ambitious, process-driven and results-oriented
  • Ability to self-manage, disciplined and motivated
  • Ability to work remotely Monday to Friday, 9.00 -5.30 EST
  • Reliable Internet ( laptop, etc) test test
