What you’ll be doing
- Lead representative to deliver risk specialist expertise to the MD leadership team and develop and motivate a good understanding of risk management in the business unit.
- Own and coordinate the timely review and update of point and emerging risk to meet Risk Management Entity reporting requirements and make sure Artemis is accurate.
- Coordinate implementation and refresh of key controls applicable to the business unit driven by Group Risk Categories and by exception, business unit priorities.
- Own and maintain business unit compliance and assurance governance to ensure timely completion of process owner and MD leadership sign-off.
- Coordinate the investigation and on-time closure of control weaknesses and issues identified by 2nd and 3rd lines of defence.
- Accountable for delivering and shaping the SOC2 Programme to maximise value and mitigate revenue risk that contract re-sign, or new deals are conditional on availability of independent security assurance.
You'll have the following skills and experience
- Commercial Acumen - uses understanding of internal commercial insight and latest external thinking to see the big picture and develop and implement ideas that benefit BT. Able to lead business case creation.
- Project and Programme planning - plan multiple projects, integrating timelines and identifying any potential resource gaps. You define roles, responsibilities and reporting lines and plan effective reporting measures and controls to evaluate the progress of projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - comfortable with high volumes of data to assess complex policies and propose solutions.
- Change Management - Excellent change manager across people, process and technology working in alignment with stakeholders. Able to assess and be proactively mindful of the impact of strategic change and improvement across portfolio, technology, vendors and partners.
