Job description
PBS Utility Services Ltd are a dynamic organisation with over 10 years experience of providing vital support services within the utilities industry. We have a particular focus on surveying and inspecting the assets and networks of large utility clients, and we are currently recruiting motivated and ambitious individuals to join our team as we expand to meet client demands.
We are looking for a Survey Analyst to join our Fibre Optic Survey department to collate data from our on-site team and produce design plans and reports to be issued to the client.
The responsibilities of this role include downloading survey reports and photos from the on-site team, interpreting the survey notes to build a design report and annotating photographs to show the proposed installation positions of equipment and cables. Previous experience of handling survey data or within a similar position will be considered an advantage.
Ultimately, the successful candidate will be responsible for downloading survey returns from our on-site team and using the information provided to produce Survey Reports which the client can use to proceed with fibre optic broadband installations into the premises which have been surveyed.
Responsibilities:
· Downloading survey data from on-site staff.
· Processing survey data and producing PDF design reports.
· Annotating photographs to show proposed positions of cables and equipment.
Other Information:
· Remuneration – £24,000 per annum (with annual reviews).
· Hours of work – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday unless agreed otherwise.
· Holidays – 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
